Who We Are
Here at Beam Of Light International, we know that sometimes all it takes to change the world is a little support. Since our founding in 2017, we have been determined to make an impact with People, Our Communities, Country and Abroad. The core of our efforts is to bring our team’s fresh ideas and passion to a range of activities we’re involved in. We are happy to Pray with People in Sharing The Gospel of Jesus Christ through all of our endeavors we hope to share God's Mercy, Love and Grace behind our Beliefs. Here at Beam Of Light International, we see the value in everyone. We want to be a catalyst for positive change, and since our beginnings in 2000, we’ve been driven by the same ideas we initially founded our Non-Profit Organization upon: support, empowerment, and progress. Who We Impact
We provide clean water, food, clothing, shoes, medical & dental care and a solid education.
Isha Kanu
Isha lives with her parents in a small farming village. They dwell in a four bedroom mud brickhouse with zinc roof. Herparents are peasant farmers who grow vegetables to take care of this child and her siblings. She sleeps with her siblings on a locally made woden bed with a grass mattress on it which lack adequate beddings. She is a promising child attending in one of the community primary schools in her community. Isaac Lungu
Isaac is a needy child who needs support from you. He stays with his parents, they are not in any formal employment due to lack of skills to offer. They earn a living through doing odd jobs but the income they earn is not enough to meet the needs of the family. They seek to be assisted in areas of health, education, shelter, food and clothing. They are in need of your support in order to survive the hardships they continue facing as a family. They are Nsenga by tribe and are Christians. Isaac is in school, he likes creative studies, his health is fair. He enjoys playing ball games with friends. Your support to this child will mean a blessing in his life. Mary Anne Akinyi
Mary is a smart and friendly girl. She comes from Kisumu county western part of Kenya. She lives with her parents and two brothers. Their shelter is made up of iron sheet roofing wooden doors and windows. Walls are mud made smeared with cow dung to give it some smooth surface. They fetch water from a nearby borehole which is dirty and exposes them to water borne-diseases quite often. Their major source of income is peasant farming of maize and millet. The harvest is usually low due to harsh weather conditions. The annual income is below US $ 560 and this cannot enable them provide adequate basic needs for the family. It is out of these difficulties that made the father sort for assistance. They were referred to the project for support by a social worker. Mary has started going to school. She loves playing with dolls with her friends at home. Your sponsorship to this needy and deserving child will greatly benefit her and brighten her future and of her other sibling.
